Why are so many ex-army people in prison? - ex army tents
The news said that 8500 or 10% of people in prison, former military. My partner is juvenile and Cellie was in the army for a while. Why all the soldiers are also in the nick?

I think it is important to note that they are veterans from the United Kingdom, the USA, no. And I agree with everyone here (except TAF) idiot.
There is no doubt that the ex-forces people need more support if they come back orderly discipline of military life in many foods and construction company no problem. After years of chaos, that the return to civilian life force is very difficult. Men in national service had the same problems and in fact, some military WW 1 and WW II
There is another aspect of it is socially and politically reprehensible, but should be considered. That's how many of them have landed in prison before did not take place in the armed forces.
This does not mean that greater support should not be used, but with a proper and successful history of the army before the setting should also be investigated. They have a relationship and later, when the poor guy ends in jail
I agree with Mark B.
You will also notice that some law enforcement officials and the courts see as a kind of "leather" "get" a veterinarian - has a couple of times to my certain knowledge.
I would say that the myth that many veterinarians and (Hollywood, etc.), all crazy does not help either. My experience of my vets is that they all-Clued people and very professional - the others reluctantly agree.
The same goes for the support of Non-Vet former soldiers - they receive very little, often suddenly, in a labor market that can not, and also against the account of the losers who feel discriminated against, that all soldiers, etc. Non-hill brain when nothing could be further from the truth.
Only for the lighting - they were all mistakes, brainless Ridges - how is that afflict many of their experiences? Just because you're a grunt or anything that does not mean they have feelings and a senseless killing machine. You'd be mad,d army would not allow that crazy man.
There is very little support for them when they leave the service. Some are homeless in the streets, some of which pull at the end of the crime because of the lack of employment opportunities, when to leave them. But remember that some may be wrong anyway, military or not.
Just one more way that our service personnel by the government.
Perhaps, but there is a statistic that says 90 percent of the prison population is black and Hispanic and religious. Some people believe that only the leg. It is difficult to see the statistics on this and say without a doubt the reason why a person in prison.
I agree with other posters, but also because of the aggressive form of people who join the army to fight and can not decide channel his aggression in the street in civilian life
